4 TIPS TO CELEBRATE CHILDREN'S DAY AT A PRESCHOOL

One of the most awaited and memorable days for a kid is children's day. They feel special and loved on this day as parents, teachers, and family members give them special attention and love. Being a teacher, it is a difficult task to give attention to every child and make them happy individually, but this task can become a little bit easier if you follow the following 4 steps.

1. Explain children's day to kids - Kids likely understand big festivals and days like Thanksgiving, Halloween, New Year, and other religious festivals but they may not understand children's day just by listening to it once from their teacher. So, you have to make them understand what children's day is and why we celebrate this day. When they understand what a children's day is, they will become more excited about it and will thoroughly enjoy it.

2. Plan entertainment - Children's day is all about kids, so tell them that they are all kings and queens, and they can create a paper crown or tiara for them. If you want to make it easy, then you can buy a bundle of precut, constructed tiaras and crowns from the market and tell kids to just color them as they want. They can draw their favorite cartoon or flowers on it, then color it and create it as they wish. Another interesting thing that you can do is face painting. If you know how to paint, then you can do it yourself. Otherwise, you can hire face painters in Atlanta and they will give each kid a dream look.

3. Decorate the classrooms - Now that the kids know the meaning of children's day, you can tell them to decorate the classroom with their creativity, as a classroom decoration board reflects the personality of the kids studying there. Start decorating the classroom a day before children's day. Tell the children to draw something on a white sheet and then place it on the decoration board of the classroom, or if you don't have one, then allow the kids to decorate a side of their classroom with their creative drawings. Then, on an actual day, you can decorate the classroom with ribbons, balloons, a bowl of candy for the kids, and so on.

4. Arrange talent show - Explain to kids what a talent show is and tell them to show their talent. If they can act as their favorite cartoon character or sing any song or poem you have taught in a recent class, the one who knows how to dance can show his/her moves, or the one who knows how to play an instrument can do that. You can tell them to describe themselves, their likes and dislikes, who is their favorite teacher, what they like about the school, and various other more creative ideas you can add up in your talent show. You can record them performing and then send their cute videos to their parents. Another great idea is that you can rent a photo booth from a photo booth rental company. The kids can perform in front of the photo booth backdrop and create funny gifs and snaps after giving their performance.
